Description
Students are expected to summarize and describe distributions. They consider data displayed in dot plots and box plots and summarize data sets in relation to their context, describing center and spread using 5‐number summaries (Minimum, Q1, Median, Q3, and Maximum) and the interquartile range. The questions in this lesson focus students on how box plots provide information about variability in a distribution.
