And speaking of New Year’s Day headlines, here is one that made me laugh and cringe at the same time:
So what if we blocked all beef imports from Canada last year when a case of mad cow disease was detected there. That was, uhm, different. Our beef is safe for them. We say so. If you don’t buy our beef you really must hate America and our freedom.
